Our Vision:

At the Becoming Institute, our vision is to empower, educate, and mobilize the great healers of the 21st century. We are committed to fostering personal and societal transformation through advanced approaches, indigenized knowledge, and compassion. Led by Dr. Joan Samuels-Dennis, our founder and CEO, we offer transformative therapeutic interventions to create a healthier and more empowered society.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales and Client Success Specialist to join our growing team. This role combines sales acquisition with customer retention efforts, managing the entire client journey from initial contact to long-term engagement. The Specialist will handle both outbound and inbound sales, converting leads into enrollments, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying upsell opportunities. You will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with clients while driving enrollment in the Becoming Institute’s innovative trauma recovery programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Engage in both outbound and inbound sales activities to generate leads and convert them into enrollments. Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person consultations, to communicate the value of the Becoming Institute’s programs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and current students. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, providing ongoing support, and tailoring solutions to meet their needs. Maintain regular contact throughout their program enrollment and beyond.
  • Customer Onboarding & Retention: Manage the onboarding process for new students, ensuring a smooth transition into the program. Deliver personalized guidance to maximize student engagement and retention, leading to higher completion rates and satisfaction.
  • Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell additional courses, certifications, or services that align with students’ interests and career goals. Encourage clients to enroll in follow-up programs, advanced training, or workshops.
  • Data-Driven Sales Strategy: Track and report on sales activities, enrollment trends, and client success metrics. Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies, optimize engagement efforts, and improve client conversion rates.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Program Teams: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure seamless integration of promotional campaigns with sales efforts. Work closely with the program teams to stay informed about curriculum updates, program offerings, and student success initiatives.
  • Client Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze feedback from students to improve the quality of the sales process and student experience. Make recommendations to enhance program offerings, increase client satisfaction, and drive referral growth.
  • Customer Support & Troubleshooting: Address any issues or challenges that students may encounter, providing them with timely solutions and ensuring that they have the resources necessary to succeed in their programs.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador: Represent the Becoming Institute’s mission and values in all client interactions. Foster a positive image of the Institute as a leader in trauma recovery education and a trusted partner in students’ professional development.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record in sales, customer success, or client relationship management, preferably in education or a related field.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling client needs.
  • Passion for making a positive impact and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and/or trauma recovery programs is an asset.
